Speech Therapy & Advocacy Services
Services include comprehensive diagnostic evaluation, individualized therapy, and parent coaching and consulting in Beverly and virtually across Massachusetts.
Comprehensive Diagnostic Evaluation
Anchored by the Test of Integrated Language & Literacy Skills (TILLS), this evaluation identifies core strengths and needs across expressive and receptive language, reading, writing, attention, working memory, and executive functioning. You will receive a detailed written report with actionable, evidence-based recommendations to guide therapy, school support, and educational decision making.
Individualized Therapy
Tailored, evidence-based intervention for individuals navigating DLD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, ADHD/executive dysfunction, and cognitive-communication challenges. Incorporating structured literacy methodologies, such as Sounds-Write, sessions systematically target reading, spelling, written expression, expressive and receptive language, and executive functioning. Treatment goals are customized to each client’s specific needs to maximize their potential.
Parent Coaching and Consulting
Strategic guidance to empower families navigating language, literacy, and learning challenges. Services include document reviews (evals, IEPs, 504s), 1:1 coaching, and direct team meeting support. Available as flexible hourly consulting or a comprehensive package customized to your family's specific needs to maximize student success.
About Katie Craft, SLP

With over 20 years of experience as an ASHA‑Certified Speech‑Language Pathologist, I’ve dedicated my career to helping clients unlock their full potential. While I work with individuals across the lifespan, my core focus is supporting school‑aged children, young adults, and their families through the complexities of language, literacy, and learning.
Clinical Expertise & Practice Areas
My clinical work sits at the intersection of communication and academic success. With advanced training in Orton‑Gillingham, certification as a Sounds‑Write practitioner, and a graduate concentration in literacy & Language, I design evidence‑based interventions tailored to each client’s profile.
I specialize in supporting individuals navigating:
-
Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), dyslexia, and dysgraphia
-
ADHD and executive functioning challenges
-
Cognitive‑communication rehabilitation following brain injury
Every session is designed to bridge the gap between clinical intervention and real‑world success.
A Clinician’s Expertise. A Parent’s Heart.
My commitment to this work is both professional and personal. As a parent who has walked this path, I understand the stress of navigating school systems, interpreting dense evaluation reports, and advocating for a child to be truly understood.
To offer families structured strategy alongside clinical care, I completed COPAA SEAT 1 Special Education Advocacy training. Through proactive parent consulting, I help families decode complex testing data, outline actionable goals, and navigate educational frameworks with clarity and confidence.
